Title: Bomberman 94 Promo CD going price
Post by: Mishran on September 10, 2011, 02:00:40 PM
Anyone know what the price of the disc is at this time? I seen a few on eBay recently as BIN for $55+. What is a fair price for the demo disc in your opinion?

Do you specifically mean the Bomberman '94 promo CD with "SPECIAL VERSION" at the title screen or Den Den No Den?

That is an example of the one I'm referring to. I didn't know there was two different promos for '94??? Is there a specific difference?

I have Bomberman 94 Taikenban SCD  (Mine has a color insert like this: http://www.mundoemu.net/img/jogos/v9h9ay07urapfyo5mfovxnzujk84x4.jpg )

There may have been more copies of the disc made than the manuals, so who knows if that one is actually new.

There are 3 other PCE promo bomberman games
Bomberman Users Battle Hucard
Bomberman 93 Special Version Hucard
Denden No Den SCD (Bomberman with Tengai Makyou characters)

As well as the legendary HiTen Bomberman that used modified PC Engine hardware.  Does anyone know if the hardware and software for HiTen ever survived?

According to yukis old hibaihin site, the game had an (assumed) print of 10'000 pcs.

55 isn't a bad price (for a CIBler one for sure)

Yes, but is it possible that a copy was handed out CIB without a manual, such as that one in the auction? Seems a little off to me...

Tats, have you seen a sealed copy of Bomberman 94 Taikenban that did not have the cover artwork?  The auction linked above claims it's new/sealed and that it didn't come with an insert.

I have never seen a such, and I don't know why this would make sense anyway?

but judging from the pure picture, there seems to be a seal band.

The Bomberman '94 Taikenban/Special Version was also included on other promo discs like the Capsule CDs. So the stand alone disc's value is mostly in the physical pieces. I'm guessing that the stand alone disc was only released in one form and however complete anyone has seen it is as complete as all copies were at one point.
