Title: sega mega drive repairs
Post by: snickersbar on September 13, 2011, 11:01:22 PM
i got a sega mega drive which is not working right, if you put in a game it just comes up with a black screen, but when you put in master converter with a game it works fine.
After you take the converter out and put in a MD game it well work.
when you turn all the power off for a bit the MD game wont work again.
Can you anyone repair this??
I live in Australia
send me a quote
thanks Leigh

Prob'ly a silly question; have you tried cleaning the contacts on both the console and the cartridges you are trying?

Other than that it could be a bad solder point in the console somewhere.

system cart slot and cart may just need a good cleaning (I know i have to clean my sega regularly to avoid black screens and crashes)
