Title: Raffle: Dungeon Explorer - Ended!
Post by: Mishran on September 24, 2011, 03:47:45 PM
Here we go again folks! This time I have U.S. Dungeon Explorer up for grabs. This game comes with Huey and Manual only. HuCard is in good shape and manual is in decent shape, but has some writing in it. Since this is being typed up so late, I'm gonna draw the winner Saturday, October 1st. Good luck!

Awesome game, Mishran!  I already have it, so I'm out, but I wanted to commend you on your generosity.  Very cool!

Awesome game, Mishran!  I already have it, so I'm out, but I wanted to commend you on your generosity.  Very cool!

Selling games is a great way to fatten your wallet and help support collecting by giving you the necessary funds to add needed games to your collection. Giving, on the otherhand, doesn't help your own collection, but does help others. It helps to strengthen the community as a whole and is more fulfilling on a personal level.

The whole, "first come, first serve" routine is cool, but it doesn't give an equal chance of obtaining a game to everyone who may want it. There has been many time where a freebie would show up on here that I'd love to add to my collection, but I'd be detained in one way or another and unable to get to a computer or use my phone to see it until it was already gone. ](*,) I'm fairly certain I'm not the only one whose experienced this. :-k Raffling, on the otherhand, gives everyone a fair chance since a game or accessory is made available for longer than just a few minutes when the first person to see it claims it. I prefer this method and see that it has become quite popular on here. I really don't see the raffle going away anytime soon.

As a side note, Smileys' are the coolest. :P

Already have it as well, so I'm out, but I wanted to thank you for the opportunity. I think I'm gonna have to do a raffle of my own here, shortly. I'm getting a real kick out of them!

I remember playing this as a kid and liking it.  Enter my name so I have a chance at some nostalgia.

Congrats man!

Anybody else notice that DE's stereo is backwards? What's supposed to be on the left channel is on the right side and vise versa. I have to switch my connections to get it right. I have always noticed it and my copy has always been that way. I am positive my connections are correct.

I played the PCE version on my Duo-R on the same speakers and the stereo was correct. ...For whatever that is worth.
