Title: Super Mario Kart R
Post by: Sleepy Gnome on September 25, 2011, 04:36:44 AM

I never knew this existed, I had an omega snes collection a few years back (had to sell it when I was a struggling university student) and I somehow must have missed this one. Wouldn't mind playing it!

There's no such game. At best, it's a sprite hack stuck on a flash cart; at worst, just a pirate version of SMK.

Super Mario Kart R was the working title for Mario Kart 64 early in the N64's life.

Interesting that they chose to name this ROMhack that name.

But this auction does look like a hack on cart. Kinda overpriced, but it's still on the up and up.

oh god, here we go again, someone selling a repro on ebay.
yeah, super mario kart R is just a rom hack on an actual cartridge, no big deal.
honestly, if you want that game it going to be much cheaper to just have someone custom make it for you, the most a sane person would charge is $75 US
(I am one of those people who can make the game, btw)
