looking to buy a turbo duo, or a tb16 cd. Just started collecting TB stuff, and would really love to play some CD based games.
-
Both are of questionable reliability and over-inflated price. Consider a JP system.
What you want, is a Duo R.
-
Welcome to the fold fellow TGer. If you get a TG 16 with CD attachment you can't play Duo games without a 3.0 super system card. BUT If you go the Duo route you can play any and all TG\Duo games. But if your looking to collect them anyway. I would satr with picking up a Duo, May I recommend Gates of Thunder as 1 of the very first games you pick up.
What games you into if you don't mind me asking?

^thanks for the tips everyone. As far as games go. I play everything, but i do really enjoy shumps, RPGs,and fighters. I do have gate of thunder on my VC for wii and i love that game. Im also a working designs collector so i def want to get exile and cosmic fantasy

Just made a deal with Kieth Courage on a turbo duo-r. Cant wait to get it
-
Excellent choice! You'll love it! All you need now is a region mod for it and you'll be able to play anything but the arcade titles (until you get an arcade card) or the 5 supergrafx hucards :D
-
Congrats. I will be getting a Duo R next. :) Maybe good ole' Keith Courage will be able too hook me up when the time comes. I just bought a Turbo Duo from him, and it should be here by tomorrow. Very fast shipping.

I already region modded it for him Blue
