Title: Raffle: Klax (US TG16) It's over! We have a winner!
Post by: allyourblood on September 30, 2011, 03:06:03 PM: Okay, folks. I have become quite fond of this community in a short time, and I've enjoyed reading and learning quite a bit. I feel like it's time to give back a little, so I'm putting up my first raffle:

Klax (US), HuCard only, but in pretty good shape. Plays perfectly. I know another copy of this game was raffled earlier this month, so here's everyone else's second chance at a decent TG16 puzzler. Upon close of the raffle, I will ship this HuCard to the winner, free of charge in the US.

A couple rules or guidelines, if you please:

1. You must have joined the site prior to this first post to qualify, and you must have at least 10 posts before entering: I want to reward active members for their participation. If you don't have 10 posts yet, get to work. But please, no filler or garbage; find a topic to participate in, and share your thoughts. That's what makes this site so great.

2. If you have won a raffle on this site in the last 30 days, please sit this one out and give others a chance to win. Share the wealth!

3. Please enter only if you don't already own this game.

International entrants are welcome, but you'll have to pay shipping, which might negate the joy of winning a not-so-valuable HuCard. Your call.

So, that's it. I'm going to let this run a full week to give folks plenty of time to enter, so I'll select a winner Friday night, likely around 6-7pm PST (10/07/11). Post if you want it, and good luck!

Yes, Sparky, digitpress is nice for info, and there are a handful of good folks there, but it can get way too ugly too often for me to frequent it much these days. I actually had been trying to gain membership to pcenginefx for the better part of a year, and settled for some other forums in the interim. I'm definitely glad I finally got in, as the TG/PCE platform is easily one of my favorites, and it doesn't get a lot of love on DP.

I really like it here, and you guys make it super-easy to want to do this sort of thing. I will be doing at least one raffle in October, as well. I don't have a ton of extra Turbo stuff to offer, so TG/PCE raffles will probably be few and far between. However, I hope we have some Sega and Nintendo fans in here as well, 'cause I've got lots of stuff for their platforms to raffle off! I'd like to plan a "biggy" for the holidays, say, 'round Christmastime.

Post by: thrush on October 06, 2011, 01:06:04 PM: Oh my gosh, I had forgotten about this game! My brother used to play this a lot, but I was not up to speed with puzzle games at the time. Was there an arcade version maybe? He was always way more into quarter-powered gaming than I.

Anyway, I'll sit this one out, too, since I know someone else will enjoy this game more than me, but bravo on offering a freebie so soon AYB!

I love Klax, even if everyone else hates it. :) I'm probably the only one around these parts who's actually beaten the NES version *and* found the hidden game in it. :D So yeah... count me in please, if there's still time. :D

That's Heather from Silent Hill 3. The first three games in the series are some of my favorites. (Four is okay, but not quite as good)
