I just came up with a great hobby project of mine. If I had a high quality scan of the Ys book I and II map, I could have it printed on a map style looking handkerchief, and weather it to look old.
Basically to resemble some of the cloth maps that came with some of the Working Designs RPGs.
A cool place to store it would be under the CD tray.
I also thought about just doing a repro map on weathered paper. I use to do this in arts and crafts years ago in school.
You take some high quality paper, ball it up and let it sit in coffee. Then take it out and and let it dry. Looked just like an old map!
What do you guys think?
I just lost hope of ever finding one with a map.

That would be pretty cool and it would be nice to have for us unforunate people who don't have the map :( .
-
Yeah now I really want to do it. Come on guys anyone out there with a map? Share the wealth! : )

OKay I'm bumping this because I want a scan of the map. I don't really care if I have an original, I'm just looking to make some game art/posters.
Also would like decent scans of any of the other Turbo related Posters out there (bonk,Champions,Yo Bro, ect.)
Thanks to anyone who might have them.

Holy necrobump! I had totally forgotten about this. I have since found a map and have it on me, but thinking about it, still sounds like a cool idea!

This would be cool! My copy of Ys deserves a map. Come on, MG. I know it's an old idea but it would be great for the community. I would put a water mark or something on it to keep the ebayers in line.

Let me research this a bit to see what can be done!

I knew it Had to be somewhere!
Thanks MG!
(and that's how ya necro bump - 8 years, google search in this case didn't help me much)
