Title: WTB: Turbo Express or GT controller PCB
Post by: BlueBMW on December 18, 2011, 01:24:08 PM
I've got one unit I'm trying to fix that has a bad controller board.  So if anyone has a unit that's beyond repair but has a good controller board, I'd like to buy it :D

Dam, I just sold my spare turbo express parts a week ago. I wish I had known or I would have sent one to you for free. ](*,) Also, did you check the ribbon cable from it? I have encountered quite a few where the white ribbon cable is completely shorted out so I then just wired it up directly instead.

Ill check it to be sure but im pretty sure I checked each connection over that ribbon cable.  This issue is that buttons I and II only work when turbo is maxed.  Ive done the usual cleanings and continuity checks.  I swapped in another board and it worked just fine.  Who knows hehe.
