Is there a magic trick to it?  I go to format and click yes, it says OK.

then, I still can't save games.

 What did I break.
-
Did you try leaving it on for a while? This is the one you just bought, right? How long did it sit unused? Maybe the supercap is dead, or maybe it just needs some juice.

yeah it's the one I just bought.

The one I got from HenryCSC worked to save games and such.   I'll leave it on and see.

How bad is it to swap the supercap.

-
I have no since mine still work. I can't imagine it's that bad though.

-
				BLUEBEEMER!

Can you fix these?  I'm about has handy at soldering as I am at being polite.
-
the supercap should be an easy replacement, just never seen a bad one

-
I don't even know what a super cap looks like.  I'll open it and see if I see bubbly capacitors.

-
If it's the same one as the SuperCD it will just be a big radial cap. (5.5V  - 0.047Farad)

-
the one in the duo is a plastic square

-
well hopefully it is easy to fix either way.
