Im surprised my friend that completed and recorded tons of games never did that one actually. He did tons of turbo games on the youtubes.

Yeah really. Could you convert that VHS scene to digital and post it? I just finished vasteel and could post those endings in return :-)
Duo memory was too full. Had to do Estefan on my Duo and Faliel on Magic Engine.

The ending is actually pretty cool and looks like it's from a completely different game. It would have made a much better advertise cinema.

How do I do image capture on Magic Engine? Trying to make recordings of Falial's 2 endings right now. Even if I don't get to see the DM:TQ engin, I'll post these 4 Vasteel Endings. It's like WD's most obscure game.

Or if anyone else can do it , I'll be glad to email the save state for Vasteel 2. As far as Estefan's ending, I might just hvae to do a crappy recording with my cell phone.

Hit backspace or whichever button you have configured for screen shot capturing.

I want to do video capture.
Dear Mr. TheFather5, if you do not have any way to transfer VHS, I have a converter piece buried away. But then you'd ahve to trust me with your tape.

There are many third party programs that will video capture anything running in a window.

There is some nice art there, but dang it was long. It would have had more impact if it were edited down to half the time.
...or maybe not. I guess I have to keep in mind that the person seeing this would have just played a crapload of Dungeon Master, which is basically a video quaalude. Paint drying would seem like F1 to them.

+100 points for referencing quaaludes, which were mentioned all the time in the early 80's pop culture. Songs, TV shows, movies...everything was better with a quaalude.
Anyway, Dungeon Master was strangely addictive back in the day. I remember, after school, heading to the computer lab at school to play me some DM. Every day! It was sweet on the the IIgs. Seriously.
Of course, I don't know how I'd feel about it today. I haven't touched DM, let alone Theron's Quest, in years.

I played it mostly on the Amiga. Not being able to keep any gear between dungeons in the Turbo version kind of made that version sucky, although the music and ambient noises were great.

Yes! I listen to the ambient tracks all the time on my laptop and they are very nicely done. Surprisingly, IIRC, Atlas: Renaissance Voyager also has some great ambient tracks. I love these soundscapes.
Yet one more reason that I love you, Zeta: you appreciate these finer points.
