Now that's the way to frame science—as an homage to Wipeout.
I think the relationship between real science and video games is fascinating. Indeed, I am eagerly looking forward to the awesome game that will simulate the EVOLUTION of organisms/ecosystems on a global scale. Manipulating the very fabric of life... Such a game would be truly awesome (http://archives.tg-16.com/archive-four/TF-03-07.jpg).

Very clever! Too bad it looks to be a viral marketing hoax. The theory seems sound, though. Here's a real video of a superconducting puck levitating and moving around a magnetic track: Cool stuff. If anything it's broadened my curiosity in physics. :)

yeah, that video screams 'not genuine'. Among other things, I'd like to think that scientists, even Japanese ones, could correctly spell "research".
