I recently purchased Gameboy Wars, but I do love Advance Wars. I think I'd get to grips with a game like that (if it is similar).
On a different subject, I was after GBA Fire Emblem, but it's ridiculously expensive!

I guess you haven't tried Neo Nectaris then. You should pick it up asap. It is amazing and comes with Military Madness built-in. Vasteel and Macross Love Song are also cool.

There are so many games in the same genre that are much better that I wouldn't recommend it. The same goes for Master of Monsters, that is basically the same game but with monsters instead of modern vehicules.

I hear you, but there's something wonderful about Master of Monsters (I spent many hours with Genesis version) that prevents it from being as stale and musty as folks may expect.

To all those reading: give Master of Monsters (any platform) a chance ;)
