I have a turbo stick that's been setting in the closet for quite some time because button II doesn't work. I decided to take it out and have a look. Everything else works fine. I switch out the rubber piece that makes the contact when pressing on the button from button I and gave it a good cleaning but still doesn't work. Anybody have any ideas of what could be wrong?

It could just be a faulty connecion somewhere. Do you have a multimeter anywhere? Or a continuity tester? That's probably the first path to take, and if there's a broken connection, just find it and re-solder it.

Thanks soop, that was easy. Found a point where I wasn't getting any continuity. Add some fresh solder and now it's working.
