Hi Everyone,
Just bought myself a PC Engine Duo,
http://www.ebay.com/itm/300654418588?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
If the supplied Japanese power supply can be used in Canada or should I buy
http://www.retrogamecave.com/ac-adapters.html?
Thanks.

The Japanese adapter will do just fine. Its rated for 100V ac instead of 110/115 but they seem to do just fine. I've never had any trouble with using them. Some guys recommend using a stepdown to drop the 110 to 100, but really the supply can tolerate the higher voltage no problem.
-
hey rage.. where in canada are ya? <<sips glass of maple syrup>>
and welcome aboard man.
-
Yeah, Japanese and North American adapters have slightly different voltage but it doesn't seem to be enough to cause any kind of problems. Should be fine as is!

But he is in Canada. Don't they use the metric system, Blue? :P
BMW is all knowledgeable on shit like this. And if he is wrong and your system takes a crap, he can fix it!
