Never heard of this attachment...it reminds me of those old-school devices teachers used to put on ti-84's so they could scale it up on an overhead projector.
Are we looking at a similar thing? Or...using the pce to blow up pictures onto the tv? Or something far more sinister?

There's 3 separate items there:
- Illust Booster: A graphic tablet (draw stuff on it and it appears on screen)
- Print Booster: A printer (print purdy pictures to paper)
- Photo Reader: A scanner (use it to scan photos in)
That's my understanding of it, anyhow. I'd speculate that it was part of NEC's plan to turn the PC Engine into a home PC.

I'd say something less sinister (Frank's got 'em covered). Those three coupled with the Artist Tool HuCard (bundled with the Print Booster), you could make fancy art on the PCE, print it out, and hang it on your fridge like a boss!
