Well I do remember a simular product for the NES. Hudson along with a couple of other companies would also make stuff for the Famicom.

Jeez, I though I was getting hosed when I bought the 2008 version for twenty something.
My friend kicks my ass in this, btw. His score is like 126 or something. He will instantly blister his finger in a single run. I think my high score is in the low 90s.
