Got another Final Lap Twin that I don't need.
This isn't the one from the original 9 that were up for sale/trade. That one is gone but, I have another loose one
with faded title paint that I want to raffle off so, if anyone is interested, just let me know.
I'll try to get a pic up soon.
Raffle closes next Wednesday, 02/22/02.
The game will be held onto until the winner claims it. Free shipping.
EDIT: Pic of game
EDIT 2: And the results are in!

Congratulations, munchiaz! You are now the proud owner of Final Lap Twin for use with the TurboGrafx-16 Entertainment Super System!!
Shoot me your mailing address and I'll get it packed and ready to go as soon as I can.
Thanks to everyone who played this action-packed, state of the art graphics raffle!

I've already a copy, but +1 TurbobKarma to Shrap for giving away this unique game. I gotta play through mine one of these days.
-
I loved Final Lap Twin as a kid. Love the RPG element to the game. They should make more racing games like that. I dont need it just love playing one of the best racers (to me) on the TG16.
-
Yeah... It's a great game. I fine mix of racing and classic RPG elements.
Thanks for points, Nec.
-
I second necro. I already have a copy, damn nice of you to raffle one.
-
Count me in :)
Would love to try it!
-
sign this fella in!
-
Good one Shrap! I already have it, but this is a very nice title to raffle off!

Thanks, Herc and Bernie.
I got to looking at it and thought "Why not? Somebody might want it. And besides, I know what it's like to struggle to find a game that you really want." and every used game store you go in, some ignoramus says "Turbo what?? Uh huh huh huh... Noooo."
-
Oh, tell me about it. I'm starting my Turbografx/PC Engine collection and asked a retro shop if they have anything turbografx...they grabbed me a turbo controller...for playstation. 'Made by NEC, before the Super Nintendo? Basically 16-bit?' "You mean for Genesis?" ](*,)

Huh??
EDIT: Oh! Right, right. I see what you mean now. Yeah... Something like that.
-
Shrapnoid, count me in please. This racing title sounds interesting.
-
Already got it. Nice gesture. :D
-
this is one of the games my buddy told me to get when i get a tg-16. i haven't gotten it yet, so sign me up please
-
Hmmm... Not sure whether to enter or not.
Of course I can't play it yet, but I was looking forward to playing it on the PCE, only to find I couldn't understand it.
Nah, count me out. I'll look for a JPN guide and give you +1 Turboprop

Deletion and munchiaz added.
neoxeno and soop, thanks for the support.
soop, you really should reconsider. You don't know what you're missing. It's not just fun, it's funny too.

I don't think soop can play North American HuCards (yet!).

The winner will be very happy with this great game.

Yes! It's a lot more fun then you would expect the first time you play it. I wish I could find some old magazine reviews or ads for it but, that's easier said than done.
Okay. Anyone else?
Choose between engine sizes/gear ratios of formula-1 racers and play against the cpu or split screen 2 player mode and if that isn't enough to keep you glued to the screen then try the RPG mode where you must explore, travel to different cities, solve clues, find and buy better parts for your car and deal with opponents who will ambush and force you into races even if you aren't ready! So you better choose well, what parts to upgrade with and develop your on-track skills if you're to get through the story version.
-
Nice raffle! One of the first games I picked up back in the day. I always thought this game was way under-appreciated... great to see it getting some love in this thread.
Is it just me or is the RPG mode pretty damn tough? ](*,)
-
I actually really enjoy this game, and the quest mode in all its cheesyness. Im all set, but thanks Shrapnoid for offering the game for your giveaway!
-
Awesome game! Already got it but +1 TurboKarma to you!
-
Thanks again. I'm glad to give it away to someone who really wants to experience it.
Yes, Cab. It can be tough in quest mode when starting out which is why you should talk to everyone you can before you leave town and stick close to the town when racing until you've bought enough performance parts to hold your own against the tougher racers on your way to the next town.
That's part of what makes it so fun. It's like level-building in advance for when things get tough.

Ah. That's the problem I had. I basically kept walking straight out and getting beaten. and then borrowing money from my dad (I think).
Ok, I'll reconsider - add me in :D I can always mod one of my spare systems!

Yes! Racing RPG's are great! I'm partial to the Choro Q versions myself. Too bad there wasn't a PC-Engine version as popular as the series is in Japan.

Yeah. I do miss FLT. Was a really cool game, as it were.

Back when I got my GBA I picked up Car Battler Joe hoping it would be similar to Final Lap Twin, but I didn't find it nearly as entertaining. Racing + RPG = WIN in my book, and Final Lap Twin has been the only American released game I've found so far to satiate that hunger. Every handful of years I go though the RPG portion. I've done it twice using the Express while travelling. Those codes are a pain in the ass on the Express though. :)

Gadget Racers (Choro Q in the U.S.) for GBA is fun but, it seems to be hard to find.
I'm going to let this raffle run for another 2 hours and 15 minutes for anyone else who wants in.
EDIT: Ooops! I feel asleep! Okay. Now, it's over.

yay i win. This is so awesome. thanks again sharp. PM incoming
