Title: FS: Complete boxed recapped DUO system
Post by: Samurai Ghost on March 12, 2012, 03:45:58 PM: Getting ready to move so I need to reduce my collection a bit.

This PC Engine DUO has recently had it's capacitors replaced, so there are no sound issues whatsoever. The drive has also been cleaned/greased, and the whole system has undergone a general internal cleaning/check. Both CD games and HuCards work perfectly. Has a few black marks on the top of the system as seen in the pic but otherwise in good shape.

The box is quite worn around the edges but doesn't have any major structural damage. The manual is perfect, seemingly new. The DUO controller is brand new, unused. It still has the factory twist tie and scratch guard intact. There is a small nick on the upper part of the controller for some reason, but otherwise it is perfect. I actually bought the manual and controller separately. The colors in the pic make it look like the CoreGrafx I controller, but it is the black/purple DUO controller.

Asking price is $170.

Shipping to North America or Europe by EMS (fastest) is $65. Surface shipping is $35 (takes several weeks).

I'll post pics when they get there! I agree that they are awesome looking systems. I like them better than the DUO-R/RX personally, although they are all sexy beasts.

I'm leaving Japan in about a month so basically I want hook up as many people as possible with good deals on systems before I go! I'll still be able to get stuff from Japan when I'm back in the US but it will be a little more complicated.
