Don't think I'll ever own a MSX. Will we be able to play Inferno via an emulator?

Of course.

as is the tradition with all MSX compo related games, itll be a freebler ROM.

and will most likely have an option to buy the cartridge + box for like 30$ or something.

Beemer, it's going to be a cartridge ROM.  so you'd need a MEGAFRASH CART.

or an emulator, lol.
