CDX is on hold currently, see how that pans out.
Title says it all, pics WILL be coming, these are at the vintage game shop i used to work in, heading there in an hour or so to pick up. will also be adding some sealed genesis and sega cd games as well as photos.
anywho, boxes on these systems are great, no big dents, and no cardboard coming off. and once again, all parts are in their original seals, all manuals and pack in games included.

Asking 415 shipped, tracked, and insured to US on CDX.
asking 225 shipped, tracked, and insured on the Sega CD.
make offers on the sealed games, prefer to sell in lots to ship out flat rate, sega cd games are expensive to ship one at a time. they will have minor tears in wrap (at least), inquire about conditions on specific games please.

i AM open to offers, if the price is too high. i assume that is what this implies. i really cannot find anything similar to judge a price for it.

I honestly don't think the price is all that high. I've been here long enough to be able to sense when someone is going to be eaten though, and you are probably going to be eaten.
It's not one thing, it's a combination of things.
1) your post count is rather low
2) this is an item you are telling us you are going to go buy for the express purpose of marking it up and selling it on to forum members. It's all about the money. We don't take kindly to pure capitalists here. :) Personally, if I could get the thing for whatever you are probably paying for it, I'd have kept it.
3) the "never played" CDX probably should be played, if not opened up and inspected, to verify that the caps haven't leaked all over the place and damaged the PCB. The CDX was never exactly a Saturn when it comes to reliability. I would be very hesitant to pay top dollar for one untested.

and i will point out that i did not buy this to mark up, i'm very close with the owner of the store, and it's just way too full, and his house is filling up as well. really small store, i actually still work there when i'm in town as well.
anyway, i offered to put some stuff up that just doesn't go in the small town i'm originally from. the cdx was part of a giant sega lot, which he actually paid well for. it had two cdx's, both in the box, one of which i already sold (had a damaged box, like really misshapen, played awesomely though). also had an x'eye that has become the stores sega test station.
the cdx was really supposed to be a collector's piece, there's just no more space, unfortunately.
as i said, open to offers, and have feedback in other venues also. thanks!
