Title: PAX East 2012
Post by: Deletion on April 08, 2012, 06:12:08 PM
I had a ton of fun and saw a lot of stuff. On Saturday evening I watched the Retrogame Roadshow, in which attendees brought their valuable games and collectibles to be discussed and valued by a panel of experts. I got a little bit of swag and bought one item: a Qanba 4 arcade stick that is compatible with the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. I didn't wait in any lines to play demos but I did take a lot of photos. Click the link below for a sampling:

In case you missed it, a female cosplayer named Jessica Nigri was asked to leave PAX because of her revealing outfits. I arrived too late on Saturday and these pics prove I missed quite a sight.

I went last year but wasn't able to this year. I'm going to try to go next year.

They asked her to leave?!?  Was the show run by Quakers or something?

They got complaints, they asked if she could stick to where the game was being shown (a bus) instead of the show floor.  Last year, they got shit for not doing anything about the Duke Nukem Forever Booth Babes. This year they are getting shit for taking some action on this.

Apparently she showed up on Saturday in the pink outfit and was asked to change or leave. She changed to the cheerleader outfit and then was asked again. This is despite the fact that she was in the cheerleader outfit all Friday at PAX. She toned down her outfit again to the one below. I never saw her or heard any further commotion on Saturday, so she may have worn the third outfit on Sunday.

I'd ask her if she wanted an old fashioned mustache ride.
