Hello
I acquired a white PCE years ago that displays strange colours, just wondered if anyone knew what was wrong with it and whether it was possible to repair.
The photo is of Bikkuriman World.
Thanks

I would try inserting/re-inserting the HuCARD. It might simply be dirty contacts (in the PCE slot and/or on the Bikkuriman HuCARD).
Do you have other HuCARDS?
It is possible that the problem is not the PCE, but actually a bad HuCARD. It's rare, but a few folks here (including myself) have encountered tainted HuCARDS. I don't understand how/why the HuCARDS in question stop functioning properly, but it happens.

could be bad video ram as well, if it happens with all games.
a bad trace going to ram would act the same

Thanks for the replies, it happens with all my other games. I have two other working PCE's, so its not a major problem, just thought if it was a simple fix I get it looked at, otherwise I won't bother.
I did try to get it repaired once before at Raven games in London, but they just converted it from PAL to scart, thinking this would fix it.

Hm, this is similar to the manner in which the TG-16 system that I had won eventually broke down... The games would load, but with weird, discolored graphics/sprites, etc. I threw it out and got a Turbo Duo. :\
