I've seen PC-FX GA games (such as SameGame) bundled with PC-FX GA hardware and wonder if they will work on standard PC-FX home consoles?
Thanks,

I don't own Same Game FX, but as far as I know, it contains demos specifically made for the Game Accelerator card or the (never released) 3D Adapter module. Thus it won't work on a barebone FX. Same deal with Nyū.
But it might happen that Magic Engine FX emulates the HuC6273 in some distant future.

Hi there,
PC-FXGA game released on CD as far as I know can boot on stock PC-FX at least this is the case for Nnyu which I tested. Check my blog for more information. http://uk.geocities.com/sabre470/2006/01/some-more-nnyus.html (http://uk.geocities.com/sabre470/2006/01/some-more-nnyus.html) Their boot sector is identical to PC-FX games. Though with the absence of the 3D chipset in the stock FX you don't get any image lol, I actually have the Nnyu looping in my FX as I'm typing the music is quite cool a bit repetitive though...
I don't know about SAME GAME FX but as soon as I can grab a copy of it I'll let you know.
