Post by: esteban on April 18, 2012, 04:19:13 PM: Call me crazy, or deluded, but some dude (actually he claimed he and his brother) scanned almost all the US manuals and made them available as .pdf's a few years ago (6+) on the magicengine.com forums.

I only downloaded one or two, because I was curious, but I wish I had the forethought to download everything. IIRC, this fellow had made a simple website and one page featured links to all the files.

Anyway... If one of the old-timers saved everything, we would have ~entire US library of manuals.

They don't know how to fix their systems (generally speaking) and there's a major shortage of hardware/accessory reviews and information, but almost all of the manuals are right there on the forums.

Ideally, once everything was available, we would eventually dump the low-quality manual scans with higher-quality scans....
