Title: If you can have 1 non-English release on the TG (in English), what would it be?

and I mean officially released, not unofficial methods like patches/translations or anything of the sort.

For me, not quite sure yet. Still new to the system.

Gulliver Boy, that game would have shown the power of the super cd even though it could use the arcade card.

Serious question: How does Gulliver Boy on the PCE compare to the Saturn version, objectively speaking?

On topic: Legend of Xanadu II is still the best PCE ARPG that I've played. I'm looking forward to finishing the fan translation. :)

I remember seeing pictures in EGM of Snatcher and Far East of Eden. Those screenshots gave me nerd boner, so in honor of my 15/16 year-old self's nerd boner, I'd say one of those.

Would love to see an english translation of Street Fighter II that game is impenetrable in Japanese.

Ys Books I&II a close second and Beyond Shadow Gate an even closer third.

I was originally asking, in other words, what Japanese-only release would you like to have seen released in English. Not necessarily the other way around. ;p

Why would you want anything other than Tengai Makyou/Far East of Eden Fuun Kabuki Den?

Yep, and someone mentioned Ys 1&2 and Beyond Shadowgate.  You mentioned Ys was already done and I mentioned Beyond Shadowgate was an English only release.  :)

It is the best game ever made. It features standard JRPG elements, but is extremely original. It is modeled after Final Fantasy IV in basic ways, but is the peak the TM/FEOE theme, aside from maybe TM The Apocalypse IV.

I believe the only one that was released in English is the Neo Geo version. Sadly it's a mediocre fighting game and nothing at all like the rest of the series.
