[ul][li]Why do some ebay auctions show a white case and others show a black one?
Did both have the back case insert?
Did all come in an outer cardboard box?
What about this weird map thing. Was it included in all versions?
How many versions were there? LOL[/li][li][/li][/ul]
Thanks!

Because the Turbo Duo included it as a pack in game. So, those had no insert and no outer box. :) Just a white tray insert and manual.

The Duo pack in was white and did not have a rear insert, nor did it come with a box or map. The retail version had a box, black case, rear insert and map. I think there were only 2 versions.
EDIT: Beat by two seconds. :D

Oh okay. I thought the one I got was missing the back insert. In that case, I can rest easy.

For whatever reason people like to charge an arm and a leg for either version. Never understood that.

Three versions:
1) retail - boxed TGCD with manual, map, black case, "made in Japan" printed on disc
2) retail - same, but "made in USA" printed on disc
3) Duo pack-in - different disc design, white tray, manual. No map or box.
The map is basically a small piece of artwork. It is in no way useful for playing the game.
White tray games: Ys pack-in, GoT pack-in, Insanity, Meteor Blaster, Implode, Valis 2, Final Zone 2
