Thought I'd dig out my old turbo sticks for some 5 player action only to find that two of them have the run and select button not working. Any suggestions? Are there people that repair these things or is it pretty simple fix that anyone can do?

Hard to say, could the pads underneath those bottons need cleaning, solder joint broken or the logic IC.

I went ahead and cleaned them, nothing still didn't work. Solder joints looked ok, so it may be the board which would really suck as turbo sticks aren't exactly cheap these days. I got some good use out of em and only paid $10 back in the day but man it kind of renders games like dungeon explorer useless.

Nevermind, got a good deal on two used sticks, probably going to raffle my broken ones. Was real tired last night and not in a good mood to have shit not working.
