When did the well known yellow smiley face (created in 1963) first appeared as a bitmap version in any kind of computer use (PC, MAC, internet or what ever)?
I know that there are unicode smilies (b/w & w/b) from 1981, and the ascii art :-) which its first use is recorded back to 19-Sep-82 11:44.
But when and where was it firstly introduced as a real yellow colored bitmap version ( :))?
Thanks for any valuable answers and hints :)

The first I can recall was old 90's AOL chatrooms, but that probably wasn't the first
-
Around when in the 90s was that? I mean it must be at least after 11.1992, right?
-
Yeah, AOL didn't exist that far back. I think they started mid 90s. before that was Netscape, primarily.
