Title: White CDROM Repairs Needed

Hi Guys

I have 2 white PC Engine CDROM2 units I would like repairing.

1. Laser replacement, was reading  but now CD won't spin which I understand happens when laser not picking up, checked gears and OK.  i have a new laser which I can send.

2. Pot adjustment.  I have a reconditioned unit with metal gears that reads but a little unreliable, had new laser fitted prior to me purchasing off ebay.

Is there anyone in the UK that can help or recommend someone ?

There are a few of us here in the forums that would be willing to help but are in the U.S. If you can't find anyone in the U.K. and are willing to pay shipping costs to the states I'd be willing to tackle it for you.
