Title: TooManyGames 2012
Post by: Mishran on June 08, 2012, 04:13:24 PM
Next weekend, June 15-17 if anyone close want to attend. I'm making an attempt to go on Saturday. Crossing my fingers.

Dang!  I wish I had heard of this earlier.  It looks totally awesome.  And I'd be tempted to spring for the "Final Boss" tickets to see the Minibosses.  I don't think I'll be able to make it since I'm trying my best to make it out to Chicago next month and am going on a 3 week RV trip with the family up to NY next month as well.  Summer-fun travel budget is pretty much spent. :(

Have fun, Mish! I wish I had the time and funds to attend more game cons.

Oh okay, it's in PA, that's why I never heard of it. Someone said Chicago and since I'm close, thought that's where it was.

Today is the day. Found myself one of those "special (http://www.classicplastic.net/dvgi/editorials-davidnesconvert.html)" Gyromite NES carts out in the wild and want to play me some Fami games. Anyone recommend some good ones, without the language barrier, to look for while there?

Also, Gyromite is very easy to play with two controllers. Not that bad a game actually.

Crisis Force (Konami Shootie)
Castlevania III (additional mapper chips not included in the US release improves the already fantastic music)
Kid Dracula
Wai Wai World series
Holy Diver

Thanks for the recommendations guys. Didn't find any of them but did find Gunhed and STar Force, both shooters for 5 bucks each.

If you're in Chicago, then you definitely don't want to miss the Video Game Summit on July 14th. Czech it out 8):

I met him in person a few years back at TMG, but not this time. My nephew got him to sign a boxed copy of Castlevania 2 that year. Apparently it was because it was his first game review.
