I got a Vita for my birthday, and now I need to make a decision.
I have £50 worth of Amazon vouchers, and I was thinking about using them to get a 32gb card, as I currently use my PSP a lot for watching TV.
Pro's and Cons:
I already have a PSP with a 32gb card
Vita has a bigger, brighter screen
PSP battery lasts longer
Vita battery only lasts about 5 hours, which is enough for about 10 episodes of most shows, or maybe 3 films
At work, not that I'd get through 5 hours (bus, lunch, bus), I could get a second charger like I have for my PSP, or maybe a second battery (if they exist?)
32gb is actually quite a lot, and the only time I've come close to filling it on my PSP was with 120 episodes of the Big Bang Theory. The resolution is higher on the Vita, so assuming I change my encoding, file size could be bigger though, but I got by with a 4gb for years, and 16gb is still 4x that size
I can get the games a bit cheaper elsewhere
So, do I get the 32gb, a 16gb and a game, or two games?
And what games?
-
I'd personally want games and keep using the PSP for video; the extra 3/4" screen size wouldn't be worth buying an overpriced memory card (they'll get cheaper eventually).

Get Gravity Rush. Stop f*ckin around.

Definitely on my list. I was watching an auction, but it went for more than I expected. I got the Vita for £150 with Evberybody's Golf.
I'm thinking:
Unit 13
Uncharted (not my kind of game, but it's supposed to be good)
MvC3
Rayman Origins
Gravity Rush

Yeah... I probably will need *a* card though, so maybe the 16gb...

BlazBlue
all a LOT of fun....and yeah Necro's right, just keep using the psp as you have, games for the Vita ;)
Unit 13 is....decent, nothing to great IMO.

Forgot about Blazblue, but I didn't really understand the series the one time I played it. Probably a good thing after 20 years of fireball motions.
Unit 13 seems like my kind of game, a Syphon Filter type of deal, and I do want an FPS...
As for Metal Gear HD, they can sod off. I hated the second game, I have the 3rd, and they left out Portable Ops, which is possibly my favorite in the series. If they'd remade MGS, I'd have been there so fast, but without that, it's just 2 average games that you can pick up for less than $5 each.
And many years ago, I decided I was never going to play 3, so I watched all the cutscenes...

Well unit 13 isn't a FPS, but it's fun enough.
Seems Ark REALLY likes Gravity Rush lol, have the demo, but never got it yet. Disgaea 3 was my Vita game of choice for 2 1/2 months straight ;)

Hmm... Disgaea.. I've heard of that. What other games is it like? I don't really like JRPGs, but I've always wanted to play Kingdom Hearts or whatever. Closets I got was Valkyrie Profile Lenneth

Disgaea series are SRPG's....think Final Fantasy Tactics...except with funny/crazy storylines/humor LOL

Why don't you try and cash in that voucher, and use that money elsewhere?
-
Right, I've decided against the 32gb card (despite the large screen) mainly because it's such a pain in the ass to transfer anything. I have a 4gb card that I used to put some TV on, and it won't let me change the default video directory, which means I have to copy and paste to the right folder, and then download the videos through the Vita. I'd rather drag and drop.
Currently changing the password for my PSN, but then I'm gonna check out the AR games, and use my amazon vouchers for games.
So Do you reckon Gravity Rush and Uncharted? I think I can afford both of them with vouchers.
*edit* so that's what I've done.

Tape the vita and psp to your feet like I do. They make great sandals in the summertime.
