Wow, what a great issue!

What!? That's nuts. What'd you do? :p
-
I guess they considered my post as advertising or something.
-
Nice! Thanks for the plug. Now I need to get some more cards assembled! :)
-
Great - I love reading these on my tablet - can't wait to rip through it.
Is there any interest in doing physical copies? I'd be happy to pay for it.
-
Weird I can't download those issues only view them in browser. I thought I could download them before - has that changed?
-
Skimmed through this and read a few articles this morning. This issue looks excellent--I'm really looking forward to reading your comic later this evening :)
edit:

You can still download them here (at Pixel Nation) (http://pixel-nation.co.uk/index.php/online-store/product/139-pc-engine-gamer), but Issue 7 isn't up yet...
-
Download will be up on Pixel Nation in about a week. This issue clashes with the launch of their mag, so it's understandable.
There won't be physical copies - the design is all wrong for print and I'm on shaky territory regarding copyrights if I make money from it. I would like to do some sort of printed publication of some sort one day but I'm still not sure if there's an angle I can take that hasn't been done by everyone else. I was thinking about reviews in comic book form, but I'm not sure about it yet, especially as my art isn't really that pro.
-
This was a good issue, and the adventures of Gogan is pretty awesome. I like how you picked the picture of me looking kinda retarded. Well, that was all of them, but you picked the most retarded one, and made it all 1980s magazine style with the words coming out. I loled for awhile about it.
Ever consider a China Warrior comic?
The Oolong Saga!

Holy floating ArkHEADS BatPaul!

I hadn't but I am now.
-
This is my first time seeing this. I love when I find something on the internet and I'm behind and have to play catch up. Not only do I get to read 1 great magazine, but I get to read all 7!!!
I took a quick look at the 1st issue. Man... I love the style. Takes me back to the day. Gorgeous work. to everyone involved!
-
Another excellent issue! Thanks a lot for all the time and effort you put into these, we all appreciate it!
-
Yeah, the best part of the whole thing is that it has that nice touch of sarcastic humor, and feels like a 1980s gaming magazine.
Yknow, back before they blew dogs for quarters.

Indeed! Thank you!
I gave it a quick scan earlier on, can't wait to dig in this afternoon. Floating Arkheads and all.
-
Floating Arkheads should be enemies in our next game.
-
Hell yeah!
Too bad we can't call it Arkanoid.
oh shit
Arkhanoid.
Success.

Great stuff, keep em coming :D
-
I look forward to reading it! And all the other ones...
-
Paul, I still have comments on older issues that I never had a chance to post.
What I'm saying is that I'm slow and that I won't read PCE Gamer #7 for at least another day.
So, in the interim, let me tell you how much I enjoyed the previous issues you've created: (http://junk.tg-16.com/images/pcds.png) (http://junk.tg-16.com/images/pcds.png) (http://junk.tg-16.com/images/pcds.png) (http://junk.tg-16.com/images/pcds.png) (http://junk.tg-16.com/images/pcds.png).

I am all for the floating Arkheads! They could shout obnoxious phrases as attacks al la Parodius.
Another great issue, guys! :D
The ocean is the wettest place on earth.

There's a way you can download it from the original site, but you need to register. Or you could go here (http://www.bugmenot.com/view/issuu.com). :-"

Really late bump, but I just now saw that this issue was out.(am I late or what?)
Awesome issue. I just had to bring this topic back for anyone else that missed it too.
Best issue yet I think, longest for sure which is great! Thanks sunteam_paul this is really amazing work.
-
Look out for a printed version sometime in the year 20XX.
-
OK, I pledge to re-read all these issues in the next week. (http://junk.tg-16.com/images/pcgs.png)
I know there must be a few things I missed/forgotten about since the first time around.
-
Is there a way to get this in PDF form?

The Massive PCE Activity Book (Over 101 projects!)
With stickers and a little pack of crayons? Sign me up - twice if the crayons are custom colors like Deep Blue, Red Alert, Emerald Dragon, Bonk Smiley Yellow, etc.

LMAO!!!

Some...interesting suggestions so far.
It pretty much needs to have the words 'PC Engine Gamer' in the title for 'brand continuity'. So far 'Omnibus' and 'Book 1' are probably front runners.
-
I like Omnibus.
-
So do I. Has a nice old fashioned ring to it.

Very much so.
With that in mind:
PC Engine Gamer Almanac Vol-1
PC Engine Gamer Manual Vol-1
PC Engine Gamer Codex
PC Engine Gamer Atlas
PC Engine Gamer Primer
PC Engine Gamer Handbook
PC Engine Gamer Folio
the copy writer in me is happy now ;)

PC Engine Gamer Codex of Ultimate Wisdom

Might not be original, but it does roll off the tongue...
PC Engine Gamer Complete - Volume 1

PC Engine Gamer Complete - Volume 1
Hmm, while it's not strictly 'complete' as it will not include the sub-features, I do like the sound of it because it reminds me of 'R-Type Complete'.

Just read the issue; very nice :) I see that you covered some demos and small stuff, but not translations? It was the Marchen Maze bit at the end that reminded me. MooZ released a translation patch for that game a couple of months before this issue. Or did you not cover hacks/translations/related?

I didn't know about it, otherwise it would most likely have got a mention.
