ain't that some shit. I watched their video again and the beginning shows the OG game, but it went by so fast, I didn't really pay attention the first time around.

Looks like they did a decent up conversion/port thingie

The cartoon girl at the beginning looks familiar, I want to say she belongs to Metal Slug, but that's just pure speculation.

That's because of how it's played (grid based, evading enemies, collecting items) and the Egyptian theme, not because of close similarities in the artwork.

It's not bad though. I watched a bunch of videos. It does look like it would be fun if I had an Amstrad.
