If your bored and have a min? ok, so i got a few on the way(st2 and bull fight) and i already have keith courage, legendary axe, and alien crush. what are some suggestions, i typically like platformer's and fighters, i do have a cdrom but only a original system card, so no super cd games just yet.. thanks !!
-
Platformers? The Bonk games, Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu, Ninja Spirit.
-
Vigilante and China Warrior! If you have friends over and like fighting then get the Bomberman games. Also, do you own a pc-engine or have a way to play pc-engine games? there were a ton of platformers that were never brought over stateside. The pc-engine softare bible pcengine.co.uk/ (http://pcengine.co.uk/) is a good place to start.

i have a region modded tg16 , so yeah pc engine games are fine, as long as they are english player friendly , as in i know zero japanese. vigilante and china warrior are on my to get list, and yes the bonk games, thanks for the suggestions!

This might be heresy, but I'd probably try to find Ninja Spirit before Bonk, Vigilante, or China Warrior. It's really good.

Learn to love shooters, Spriggan is my first recommendation. Bonk is the default go-to platformer for the turbo, so I'll second jlued's choices(Ninja Spirit also).
I'll throw in Bloody Wolf and New Adventure Island for more platformers, even though BW is more of an isometric run'n gun.

For fighters you have Fighting Street and...
-
really like the looks of bloody wolf! I have street fighter 2 on the way, and i do think i will give fighting street a go, i played the arcade version on mame, and actually liked it pretty well!
-
Bloody Wolf is fantastic. Hunt it down with all speed.

I know you said you are mainly intrested in Platformers and fighters but it's worth grabbing a copy of blazing lazers, it's a great game.

Ah, well then you might want to keep an eye out for Dragon Spirit as well. It's not quite in the same league as Blazing Lazers, but it's still lots of fun and the music is outstanding. It should also be dirt cheap to pick up (I think I paid less than $5 shipped for my loose pce version earlier this year).

ahh yes, played this on the nes, and loved it, wanting it, and have you played the sequal? dragon sabre? im thinking i will get that one also
-
I haven't yet, but it's on my wishlist. :)
-
Look into Tiger Road, I always found it quite entertaining in an old school platformy sort of way.

Spirit is a solid arcade port, Sabre just takes it up a notch on graphics and game play. Like roflmao says, the first one should be had on the cheap but the sequel might be in the $25-30 range. I enjoy both.
You have a CD system, Y's 1/2 is a great ride (I would even go so far as to say a must play for any Turbo CD owner).
Fighting Street is not worth the shipping IMO. Wait for a Super System card and get Flash Hiders if you want another fighter(Asuka and VG are other options). SF2' is the best mainstream 2d fighter you're gonna find on Turbo.

Sabre is 2 player, which is an important distinction for some.

(http://archives.tg-16.com/preview/gomola_snake3.gif) Gomola Speed.
If you are mashochistic like me. And enjoy action/puzzle. (http://archives.tg-16.com/preview/gomola_snake3.gif) Gomola Speed. A twist on a classic formula. (http://archives.tg-16.com/preview/gomola_snake3.gif) Gomola Speed.
