Anyone try this game? It's free and around 50MB (don't know exact download file). From the comments, it's supposed to be scary. I dunno.

Looks really slick, does it play stand alone, or do you need half life 2 and steam?

The Slender Source version according to here:

Says Half Life 2 mod. So it probably runs off of that with a full release March 2013.

But the regular Slender version for PC is available in beta form in the link above.
