This is mine:
Its sports. Basketball (which is about as popular in Japan as Rugby is in the US) and, IIRC, its not by any means the best game of its type that year. Of course there is no box.
What's your least valuable game? No fair smearing it with poo or filling it with overdue credit card bills. I want to know what the least valuable game in the world is without it being damaged or poisoned or made radioactive. There are MANY games worth $0.01, what I want to know is what game would you trade 10 copies of just to get some other game that is also worth $0.01.
I'm thinking that a lot of OG Xbox games would fall into this category...perhaps most of them.
-
Prey for Xbox.
-
Basketball is as unpopular in Japan as rugby in the U.S.?
Clearly that isn't true. Most junior and senior high schools in Japan have boys and girls basketball teams.
NBA games are also sometimes shown on major Japanese TV networks.
I don't think the U.S. can say quite the same about rugby.
Certainly more Japanese are familiar with the rules of basketball than Americans are with the rules of rugby.
-
Probably some PS1 titles. Like, Tomorrow Never Dies or Italian Job or something. Surely can't be worth much or sought after.
-
Probably some random Japanese Saturn sport titles I bought sealed to strip of their cases to replace some of my beat up Saturn cases. There are plenty of cheapie games on Japanese sites you can buy for 3 or 4 yen shipped. If you had one of those and threw away the inserts and manual you'd have a less than worthless game.
-
Evergrace for the PS2, it's one shit game.
-
Well... most of my games (to a very high degree) are games that I specifically want in my collection. I don't have much filler.
The only exceptions are some old Xbox games I was given, and some loose GB carts I got as a lot, the worst of which is probably Barby undersea adventures, but I've never bothered playing it, or looking it up.
-
I have the PCE version of TV Sports: Basketball. (http://junk.tg-16.com/images/pcgsad.png)

Should probably have a rule here to omit sports games. Anything BUT a sports game should be listed. Otherwise, just like every thrift store out there, this thread will get filled with Madden, MLB, and NCAA games.
Anyway, mine is prob super Mario/duck hunt dual cart.

VIP starring Pamela Anderson for PS1...LOOSE!

madden games for genesis

Because they're mine, all my games are priceless to me. By others estimation, the most worthless one is either a loose Keith Courage or Wonder Momo (I'd probably have to pay someone to take her).
-
I'd take moar Wonder Momos
Anyone else reading that new comic of her? It's prtycoo
-
momo is such a babe

If sports games are out then we have to do away with majong games as well. I actually like playing sports games with friends but majong...

I know they made a lot of copies of The Italian Job, and I know that nobody wanted them because the focus had been on the PS2 for something like two years when it was released, but in all honesty its really a very good game for fans of the movie, which I happen to be.
I would guess there are at least 300 games on PS1 in the US alone that are less valuable than The Italian Job.

I was in Game Dude a couple weeks ago buying a couple things when some guy walked in with a huge box of PS1 games. Must have been at least 60 or 70 games. Asked the guy at the counter how much he could get for them and the reply was 'nothing'. Almost followed the guy to the parking lot and offered him $20 the lot but I have too many games as it is.

Huh. I guess I should give it a go sometime, then. Haven't actually played it - got it when my cousin gave me his PS1.
Maybe after I'd seen the movie...only seen the modern one.

Jeeez, I know I wouldn't been able to resist that.

Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt for NES. I got probably close to 30 of them, most of them free. I use them to prop uneven table, raise TV, and coasters.
The only non game stuff I have more of (and worth even less than free) are the AOL CDs.
-
Whats weird is how Mario/Duck Hunt is such a worthless common cart in the US yet is usually pretty expensive in Japan. You're lucky to find one under $5, and it's usually more if you go to a used game shops. Boxed ones are even more obviously.
-
Well, there wasn't a FC pack-in version of the game, and it wasn't a launch title in Japan, so naturally this would be the case.
-
Yeah that makes sense, as well as it's popularity.
But at least there are enough worthless Famicom carts to make a throne out of them:

-
That's pretty cool. It's like the Famicom of legos.
-
Excluding all of my worthless sports games, I have a few that could basically be considered "worthless". Space Invaders for the 2600 or Super Pitfall for the NES, for example. I'd be hard-pressed to get a dollar for either. Space Invaders, on top of being fun, is noteworthy because it's the game that really popularized the 2600. Super Pitfall is noteworthy to me because it was one of the few games that I had for the NES as a kid, I bought it purely due to name recognition, and I played it even though it was and still is god-awful.

I have piles of Intellivision and Atari 2600 games.

I have a broken copy of Baseball Stars for the NES. For some reason I refuse to get rid of this game, even though it just doesn't work. This is my only cartridge game that is completely broken.
Oddly enough, once every few months I decide to play NES Baseball Stars. It has become tradition that I try to get the broken game to work for 5 minutes and fail, then I put in my working copy.
I don't know why I can't bring myself to get rid of it, because my broken copy of Baseball Stars NES is worthless.
-
I've got a copy of Bonk 2 like that, but I guess I could make a keychain out of it.
You should make a giant keychain out of Baseball Stars, lock your bathrooms with a key, and then hand visitors the giant Baseball Stars keychain so they don't steal the bathroom key like in a convenience store!

That's awesome. Sounds like something I would do. (http://junk.tg-16.com/images/pcgs.png)

Folks, let's go.
You heard: we can't be lazy and type out the title of a sports game.
Take a picture of the least valuable game.

Probably Billy Hatcher and the Giant egg on the GameCube. not a bad game though :-)

Haha that makes since, for a minute there I was questioning your manhood :)

OK, I'll accept the "no sports" rule.
I'm pretty sure that two copies of Stuntman (GBA) are worth less than one copy of Stuntman (GBA):
A game that is nowhere near as good as Stuntman (GBA), Beyblade V Force:
And the only thing less interesting than a complete copy of Shada (no relation), a loose copy of Shada (no relation):
Lets keep this going. I want to see how bad it can get. Someone must have a half dozen copies of Wan Chai Connection (SS) (http://jeysenjurgensen.blogspot.com/2009/09/gamings-junk-bonds-beat-street.html), right?
-
lol, I have no idea atm. but there are sure some ubercrappy stuff in my "for sale" box, like loose 'n' dirty pachinko SFC carts etc. totally valueless.

I hate to tell you this, but item on the left is a pirated version of Stuntman. Chinese authorities destroyed most of the bootlegs before they could be distributed, so your bootleg is actually very rare and worth a few dollars.

The thing about Stuntman (GBA) is that its actually not bad at all. I actually beat it. Its a lot less irritating than the PS2 game, which is very pretty but drives me crazy. People don't believe me when I tell them this, when I'm trying to get rid of the thing. One smart-ass, when I was negotiating a trade, pulled fast one and slipped his copy of Stuntman (GBA) in the box of games he sent me. So now I have TWO copies, fantastic.

Hahahahahahaa. Nothing like slippin' someone a Stuntman...

I tend to trust your gaming senses... but it would take an awful lot of effort for me to sit down and play GBA Stuntman, considering how many other awesome games are out there.

I have a copy of Disney Dance Dance Revolution for PS1. While it isn't completely worthless, I never play these types of games and have 2 broken dance pads to go with it which brings it's value close to but not equal to zero. Nevermind the fact that I bought it for my wife at a flea market and it's never been played.
I also have FIFA 2004, Pandemonium and Tomb Raider for N-Gage but don't have an N-Gage.
