Holy crap. seems like the guy is trying to prove he isn't an a-hole way to much. (depends on the reserve which I am guessing is around the 350-400 mark). interesting to say the least. I HATE E-BAY MOBILE LISTINGS, grammer go a way.

So I read it - finally (it still hurts).  I still can't tell if it's never been used, was used, or if it was owned by his father's step-son's neighbour who once used it during a solar eclipse, but only once for 1 minute 30 seconds while he was microwaving some popcorn.

Wow, it`s so new that it comes with an Duo AV cable that hasn`t even been released yet!

Plus it comes with the pack-in version of Ys III, also so rare that it did not exist!

The only reason he has this never-used and new TurboDuo, is because of the elaborate story involving his not having and games to play on it, so he kept it in a closet after looking at the contents. Then 5 years later, he got a used TurboDuo... but it had no games, so he opened up that old new Duo to take the games from it to play! It was only because the stars aligned in such a way for a regular gamer, that he was lucky enough to wind up with such a one-of-a-kind basically brand new MIB Turbo system. See his other auctions for a brand new TG-16 and a brand new TurboExpress!

Holy shit!  He's got 4 in the box TG-16 for sale?  Luckiest gamer on the planet.  Those ANHEUSER BUSCH glasses are nice.

My thoughts exactly!

Would it be too much trouble to even ask him to fire it up and see if it even works?

That guy's description is cryptic, at best.  It certainly reads like he's hiding something.

Flare, every time I see a post of yours, I want to see Cool World again.  Last time I saw it, it was newly released in the theaters. :)

That guy is a gouger.  He sells TG shit on ebay all the time.  That description is a story, nothing else.  He is so full of shit its not funny.  Start the bid at whatever you want but take notice that there is a reserve on it.

for shits and giggles I just bid 300.00 on it and not only and I outbid, the reserve is still not met.  Someone bid 600.00 and see if the reserve is met (if reserve is met the price will be the reserve) then retract your bid and claim you entered wrong amount.  If i do it twice I might get a nasty gram from Egay.

Well I'm sure his reserve is $600 or more. Did you see the TG16 new in box he has on eBay? $550 really like the plastic gloves he uses to handle the system lol. What a douche.

His story does not even  make sense. I had to read it a few times just to comprehend what he was writing about. Something about a closet and he forgot he had a TurboDuo.
The system itself does look nice though.

Once again this thread belongs in the "Gouging Thread".

but....that is the worst 3 "paragraphs" I have ever had the misfortune of reading. This gouger belongs in the "Gouging Hall of Shame".

Yeah I think this guy has a hard time writing/speaking english maybe,  Really been looking at his auctions this morning - seems like he's more or less honest maybe?, clearly basing all his pricing on e-bay.  then going like 50-60% less to try to get people bidding on it on some items.  But then his other items are a little crazy?  He has three new turbografx16 systems listed at 165.00 , 175.00 and 550.00.

I'm starting to fall alsleep as well.

Once again this thread belongs in the "Gouging Thread".
I never meant it to be a gouge discussion, it just turned into one.  The starting bid was $0.00 which I can't classify as a gouge.  All the gouge talk came afterwards.

Sorry to make you read those paragraphs.  :)

Didn't he set a Reserve price? He may as well just made it a BIN.

Folks, he has to repair his roof.

That's his story for selling TG-16 stuff now, anyway.

He did, but no one knows what it is yet.  We're guessing it's in the $300 range, but no one is certain.

I wasn't try to comment on the gouging or not, just that his stuff is all over the board and I can't tell what the hell he means in any of his listings???  He might be a bit crazy?  maybe his roof leak is over his bed and he's been water torturing himself?

Lol....I've never seen it!  I always wanted to as it was kinda like Roger rabbit and I loved that one.

Ok, back on topic....

I'm betting that the system doesn't work.  Too many unknowns as he is too afraid to touch the damn thing without gloves!

I just placed a bid for $400.00 and that still does not meet the reserve price.

$400 that sucks.  I guess he is charging per letter in his description . . . has anyone checked on FQ?  I wonder if he ever recovered from the boredom?

Someone offered more than I and still the reserve hasn't been met

I'm okay.  Thanks for the concern.

I was thinking of dropping a $600 bid, but I've never retracted a bid before.  I want to make 100% sure I am able to retract it before bidding.  Should I be concerned?

I've done it probably a dozen times. There's no cause for concern. Just be careful with your timing, the system won't let you retract a bid if less than 12 hours remain before the end of the auction.

I'd love to see everyone retract their bids and see the price drop under 50.00!  That would be funny and confuse the hell out of the guy!

810 now and reserve is NOT MET!!!

Either someone somewhere really wants this one badly or all the bidders are trolls.  And what the heck is seller thinking it'd be worth so much by putting reserve at insane high.

Wow, reserve was not met at $830... The other thing is, my new Turbo Duo from TZD came with Ys Book I&II - I thought that was the case for everyone... Did TTi also vary the pack-in CD games or something ?? Getting Ys III instead of Ys Book I&II is a bad deal... I know the chip varied, I got Ninja Spirit while I think others got Legendary Axe or something, etc.

This seems to be true with RegalSin when you communicate with him via PM and get him angry.

So, I guess we can just assume this was Regalsin gouging everyone? I wonder if he adds some pedobear items to his shipments for the buying to "enjoy."
