Just bought my first Region Modified Pc Engine Duo-R! Very excited to receive this, but looking for some more controllers to go along with my system to play with a friend of mine!. (it is coming with a modified Turbo Grafx multitap and one Turbo Grafx Controller). Really looking to play with the Pc Engine Duo-R controllers, but what is the best option? Most likely looking for two Duo-r Turbo Controller and two Duo-R regular controller and a multi tap!
Thanks for looking in and looking forward to being a part of this community!

Welcome to the forums! My advice to you would be to join in on the conversations in the NEC Discussion Forums. Get to know everybody and your chances will increase dramatically. New members who make their first posts in a Sales Forum tend to get "mean faced". :P

But Mathius, he wants to buy stuff.... not gouge. I say he's cool!
I don't have any extra pads at the moment, and won't for a while since I owe more pads than I currently have!!!

I know he's not gouging. Just some friendly advice. Most peeps here are more likely to deal with new members once they get to know one another.
Good luck with the Duo Pads, Wrex. :)

LOL, I know I know new member that post wanting to buy as a first post ;) (figured I would get some of this) ,but I'm just excited about my first pc engine duo, but  that I only have one controller and can't play with my buddy yet (and wanting to experience more of a duo-r type controller then a Turbo Grafx controller :) !!!

Both US and PC Engine pads feel identical (IMO). Though I can't fault you for wanting a Duo pad. They are quite attractive.

Is there much difference in the feel of a duo pad and just a normal TG-16 Pad? (sorry not the place for this topic, but it is somewhat related O:) )
-
nah, no difference in my opinion, iirc, they used the same parts, just different colors for all the standard pads.
if you're looking for PCE controllers though, try
http://global.rakuten.com/en/category/toys_games/video_games/
stuff comes straight from japan, so shipping will be a little more, but if you buy more than about $50 worth of stuff, it's worth it.
i got a pce tap and a few controllers for $25 a while back.

I've no spare controllers to sell, but welcome aboard.
+1 on TurboPads (and DuoPads) feeling the same as all the others. The only differences are the colors/logos and the DIN plug.
-
Thanks for all of the input everyone! Might just stick with the tg-16 pads, but still interested if anyone has any!
-
I might have a spare duo controller (and maybe a 3 button controller) have to see when I get home. Problem with these duo-r controllers is that they start to get that yellowing effect after a long while.
-
Let me know, I would be interested in both if they work well( a for the yellowing I'm going to try an mix up some retrobrite to bring it back to life! Will gladly post pictures if we can work something out!

Welcome!
I don't have any extra controllers, though. :|
