Title: PCE GT?
Post by: VenomMacbeth on September 08, 2012, 09:33:41 AM
Hey guys, I wasn't sure about posting a whole new thread for this, but I've been considering getting a PCE GT (or an Express & region modding it) and...well...the cheapest one on evilbay is about $200, and I was under the impression the console is only worth around $100.  So what exactly are they worth?  Will I be stuck paying feebay prices?

I don't think they're worth that much either. Cheapest I've seen one go for is $140 and that was a recapped unit, so not too bad a deal.

I think if you can get something for around the $150 you're doing well.

You're much better off getting a turbo express to region mod if you're in north america.

The PCE version - GT is more expensive - particularly in North America.

I got a GT with bad caps for about $65 on Yahoo Auction at some point. Came with the TV tuner and a few games as well.

Indeed. Both myself and my friend got our gt's on ebay for $50 and $65 respectively. they were both broken and in need of repair. Steve fixed them up and now they work great. Keep in mind that my investment in my gt is higher than most as i have had steve and duo mod mine out pretty heavily. However, its not much more than a working one would go for on ebay and it has extra features, not to mention looks and sounds great.
