Post by: popolocrois on February 09, 2003, 08:11:00 PM
Hello to everyone,
the FTP Server seems to refuse any connection, any suggestions? Keep on with the good work with FXer project,
see you,

A private DirectConnect hub would be really cool. Best way to actually share something. The Classic Sega hub works great (around 150 guys are regularly connected) and the RIGG one was quite efficient before they dropped it (http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/sick.gif)

Thanks for letting us know about the FTP.  I will look into it.  It is run by a 3rd party so when it goes down for any reason we usually won't know about it until somebody tells us.

As for a private hub, that would be the best thing to do (I agree).  However the most difficult hurdle in making something like this is first getting enough people to volunteer their time and bandwidth to the cause, moderating everything, and communication. Aaron Nanto

I can't host the permanent hub DNS and I don't have any PC-FX ISO to share for the time being (that's why I need the hub in the first place (http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif)  ), but you can count me in to provide PC Engine and (hopefully soon) PC-FX ISOs.

You should check SuperBob's Hotline server. Although it's not accessible 7 days/week like before, it's still open.

You can currently connect to the server.
