I know most you probably aren't big into golf games but of those who are - what is your favorite golf game on the Turbo or PC Engine? I'm looking to purchase one and I have no idea which to get!

Fine Shot Golf on Human Sports Festival (http://www.thebrothersduomazov.com/2009/03/human-sports-festival.html) is my favorite.
Winning Shot (http://www.thebrothersduomazov.com/2011/01/winning-shot.html) is pretty good.
Some other possibilties..
Ganbare Golf Boys (http://www.thebrothersduomazov.com/2011/01/ganbare-golf-boys.html)
Jack Nicklaus Turbo Golf (http://www.thebrothersduomazov.com/2009/04/jack-nicklaus-turbo-golf.html)
Jack Nicklaus Turbo Golf CD (http://www.thebrothersduomazov.com/2010/03/jack-nicklaus-turbo-golf-cd.html)
Power Golf (http://www.thebrothersduomazov.com/2009/06/power-golf.html)
Power Golf 2 (http://www.thebrothersduomazov.com/2010/03/power-golf-2-golfer.html)

I really like Power Golf. ... and it is cheap and easy to find. It is a great game to play on the Express too.

Ditto.
I did not like Jack Nicklaus Turbo Golf, too slow on the refresh, reminds me of Links on my old 386sx.
Power Golf 2 changes the mechanics a bit, more control and it features real live recorded sound from Japan (there is a aiplane the flys by on the ambient bkgd "music")
I have not messed with the others listed by runinruder.

I forget which TG16 golf game it is off the top of my head, but I remember trying to play one and there was no indication on the screen how far the ball would go. Only way to find out how far each person hits the ball with each club is to look in the manual. Man that is ridiculous.

A lot of golf games from the 8 and 16-bit eras did that. I suppose it's more realistic, but I agree that it sucks.

Going to pick up Human Sports Festival and Power Golf, thanks guys! :)

There are a number of golf games I enjoy. Mario Golf, Golf, Neo Turf Masters (Neo and Neo Pocket, not sure which is better, probably the Pocket), Kirby's Dream Course (kind of golf+pool).
I can't say I like any of the PCE ones though...

Go, Go birdy chance :)
Haha! I knew someone was going to mention this.
I would say runin's pics are spot on.

Human Sports Festival! That ones pretty good. So is power golf.
and Super Albatross.
The Jack Niklaus ones are all retarded.

I've wasted countless hours on Power Golf 2

I'm not really into golf games but it seems to me Power Golf 2 is your best bet.

If you give Jack Nicklaus a chance, it's not the worst thing. I actually got into it.
I admit that the refresh rate is astonishingly horrendous....so I often paint (usually oil, sometimes watercolor) whilst playing Jack Nicklaus. After 2-3 hours, I feel as if I have actually accomplished something (instead of just wasting my time with video games). The subject of my paintings tends to gravitate towards either (1) bucolic landscapes or (2) Floridian retirement communities.
