Yep. I want some right now! But it gets old after staying in Seoul for a few days. I mean, Korea has other food too, but I find it all tends to taste a bit more similar and less diverse than Japanese food. Japan does western food better too.

(I may sound blatantly pro-Japan here, but I find other westerners who stay in Korea for a while tend to say the same thing.)

Japans gastronomy sure is one of the greatest in the world
just because you can get the everything and in good quality if going to the right places.
The domestic kitchen alone is one of the best outthere.

K-BBQ with the fire grill on your table is great fun! Plus you get shit ton of meat...and the kimchi! ...mmmmmm

Best I ever had was in L.A. at a small mom'n pop restaurant that still had wood grills and eel on the menu! Good friends and several 22oz's...

Theres a Korean BBQ place down the street from me, but have recently removed the table fire pit for "safety reasons". Bummer, as I didnt get to try it before they made the alteration

Oh yes. That looks like authentic Japanese food to the extent that it looks more Japanese than actual Japanese food does.

YOU SHOULD KNOW: When I lived in southern california, I had sundubu jjigae (tofu hot pot) all the time. So convenient (everywhere). Now I have to go to NYC to find equivalent quality. (http://junk.tg-16.com/images/pcgsad.png)

Half the restaurants in Seoul are fried chicken places. Just give me the spicy sesame one and a pisswater Hite/Cass/Max and I can go back to Tokyo happy.
