Post by: Nando on November 27, 2012, 09:34:41 AM
Crap. Can a mod move this to consoles sales n trades?
Thanks!
Just the console, nothing else. Getting a quote for $40 for the loose console. Is that about fair?

That's probably okay.

A little steep.  I'd expect to pay £20-£25 for a loose console with the hookups.  I got mine boxed with all the bits (nice box too) for £40ish.

Is that shipped? If so, that seems like a fair price, especially if it's in good shape. SFCs are pretty inexpensive in Japan, but shipping is always a bitch.

I got one that was in admittedly terrible shape for a couple of bucks, but it cost like $15 or something to ship it the slowest way possible. That's okay, I cleaned up the mainboard and put it in my "new" SFC system that had issues and made one bitchin' system.

My "new" system cost like $60 shipped from Japan. I got assraped on that one, but it did come with new controllers and I was able to fix up the system, so I've got a boxed flawless SFC now.

I bought mine for about $20-something on eBay.

$40 with hook-ups and controller would be decent. $40 loose... that had better be shipped right to your door with cookies and milk included. $40 plus shipping would be eBay prices I think. Not that I look at eBay for these things.
