Hell yes. Without any modifications, too.

Lol Nice! But for reals, I am wanting to see if the internal speaker can be upgraded with a better one? =)

I'm with you, it would be awesome if someone installed awesome (bassy!) speakers in a TE/GT. I wouldn't care about battery drain, I WANT BASS. (http://junk.tg-16.com/images/pcg0.html)(http://junk.tg-16.com/images/pcg0.html)(http://junk.tg-16.com/images/pcg0.html)

I have asked this question before, and wanted more bass as well. After steve modded my gt my sound was crystal clear so a new speaker i doubt would help much. Steve mentioned getting some kind of small cup to put behind the speaker to create bass. The way i see it, is the trick is gonna be whoever finds just the right thing to put behind the speaker to get that bassy output. I had also thought about maybe two smaller speakers, psp types maybe, for stereo. Honestly though, i can only hear in mono so bass is more important to me.

I was more looking at just upgrading the speaker to current technology. I wonder if any of the speakers here could be gutted and repurposed for use in a TE/GT.
