Title: x68000 defiled and raped

I'm not even sure what to think about this...http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=271124959937&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123

He says he didn't ruin a working x68000 to make it, but somebody did.  Kind of a bummer just to make this tight squeeze (low airflow) system.

Oh, that one.
Here's a of it. Yeah, apparently he managed to buy just the casing on eBay, so other I'm not that upset about it - I actually find it kinda cool. Still, the chassis is tampered with :-k

To be honest it looks terrible. Worse still is its all being powered by a messily 300 watt psu.

Here's a video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cwvr-5Gbvk) of it. Yeah, apparently he managed to buy just the casing on eBay, so other I'm not that upset about it - I actually find it kinda cool. Still, the chassis is tampered with :-k

Yeah I saw that it had "already been gutted" or whatever, just a shame to see something like that go to waste when there's people who can restore them. That was a nice looking chassis.

I think it's pretty cool except that ugly wifi antennae on the front

It'd be cool to have a pc in a pc-fx case, but only if the innards were beyond repair and used to repair other units.  Even then, it'd be a lot of work and make compromises.

What an abortion.   Dude should be slapped around.

It looks ok externally, but internally it looks retarded, and the liquid cooling just screams "I'm a n00b"

The wifi antenae makes the thing look like a 90's carphone, really stupid place to put that.  The system has din plugs on the back, why not place it there?  Also not getting an optical drive to load through the floppy slot is also lame.

This old project. I always thought this was really cool - especially since a working X68k wasn't sacced for this.

He should make a custom decal with an "EX-68000" logo.

Le whut?  I said I'd like a PC-FX computer for myself, not that it's never been done before.

No you didn't! well, not exactly. You said "it'd be cool to have one... etc".   That could be taken either way. :)
