Hi folks,
Does anyone know of a place that will either supply the tools for or perform a mod to switch my 50Hz PAL Turbo Grafx output signal into 60Hz?
I have tried contacting this store via my limited powers to type French (http://www.otakus-store.net/fr/) but I have not received a reply.
I am based in the UK.
Thank you.

Bluebmw sells switchless region mod chips here on these forums. i would start with him.

Thank you for that. I've sent that member a PM. :D

The region mod for games won't necessarily solve his video signal problem though right? Do you mean you want the PAL TG converted to NTSC signal? Do you have an NTSC capable TV?
If you are in the UK, you should be good as is (perhaps I'm not understanding what you're trying to do).

good point, i did not think of that. Blue should be able to answer that though either way.

It would be cheaper, probably, to just buy a US TG-16. I'm not sure if anyone has actually done the mod you are looking for. PAL TGs aren't very common.

The link in my first post claim to do so but they are unresponsive. (Probably due to my lack of French)

Not at this stage. It has been RGB modified.

Yes and yes. (50Hz signal -> 60Hz) Should just require the changing of the xtal but I am ill-equipped both in knowledge and skill to be able to do it myself.

As far as i know it cant be done even changing the clock Crystal/xtal you still get 50hz signal, they changed the board in some way and i haven't found anyone that has got it to work. i looked into this as i was thinking of picking up one to collect.

According to these guys it can be done: http://www.otakus-store.net/fr/forfaits-modding/216-TURBOGRAFX-16-MODDING.html

that clock is set at the HUc6260
i think its done with a resistor, or resistor and cap
the 6270 simply waits for V-Sync to draw the next frame
