Probably been linked to before, but I figured, just in case, heck, why not.
-
I don't remember seeing this before, pretty cool...thanks for the share :)
-
I've already seen the awesome (anti)fan-site of Johnny Turbo, but this was a great read as well. Thanks for sharing!
-
Thanks for posting that link!
-
Pretty ridiculous that the advertising campaign was essentially sabotage. It's really too bad.
-
Eh, they were already doomed anyway. The ad campaign gave the world a few new legends, so I think it was all good in the end.
-
Johnny Turbo reminds me why the bit wars were the one true conflict of the gaming world. Can you imagine the devastation if the Internet had existed in the late 80's-early 90's?
-
Do I smell some FEKA work here? Unfortunately the link seems to be sabotaged :(
-
Yeah this was an awesome video and read.
-
That video was great till the black screen with music started, oh well, interesting none the less.
-
STATUS: Excellent read and video.
BONUS: Enigma. I haven't listened to that since...well, the time the video was made!
UPDATE: There's nothing wrong with Imai's request for evidence (hell, he'd be a fool to do otherwise). However, I'm sure the problems ran much deeper than this.
IMPORTANT: We get to see, all too briefly, some advertising mock-ups...who here wants to take screenshots and post them? I don't recognize all the ads in the video, which is neat because we rarely get to see anything but the finished campaign. HELP ME OUT and tell me I'm not crazy... But... it (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet) did (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Www)!

Thanks for sharing Prof. The whole site is interesting... spent hours yesterday looking through it all!
-
Nice find :-)
-
I enjoyed the pdf screen shot and story about Gary Gygax's Dangerous Journeys game. Still, really sad it never saw release.
:(
Great site!

Thanks for sharing such swell stuff.
Aww, poor Johnny. Nothing but a joke from the word go. :|
