Title: English based Japanese FMV games - Did they bother to translate?
Post by: Trenton_net on February 05, 2013, 01:31:54 AM
Hey Everyone,

For games such as Shirlock Holmes, which is primarily FMV was the game translated to Japanese? Or was all the text and video left in English? If I had to guess, I would assume they just subtitled the movies and translated only the game menus and text?

Yeah, it's all redubbed in Jp, though, I think (& don't quote me) that John Madden & It Came From the Desert were US only, so they would've only gotten the Sherlocks.

Definitely on the Shermatlocks.

I believe that JB Harold is bilingual. I don't know how cheap the PCE version is though.
