Title: having a hell of a time finding parts
Post by: bartre on February 07, 2013, 02:03:21 PM
yeah, i know, i can go to ebay, mouser, digikey...
but i can't find what I'm looking for, a standard, panel mount s-video jack, gold plated would be best.
do they not exist?
can someone point me to one?

EDIT:
i'm looking for one like this:

You just looking for the plugs? Or are you wanting the face plate? Radio Shack is the easiest for plugs but you may have to alter your design if the exact "panel mount" is not availible... something like this:

I hope you have a electronics store for better selection. I have cannibalized old, broken amps and TVs for such parts in the past.

Sadly, no, just a radio shack with a quickly withering stock.
