Title: Best Home Slot Machines?
Post by: lukester on February 26, 2013, 01:06:29 PM
Well, I've been interested in slot machines lately(thanks King of Casino). I'm looking for a mini home machine. There are some interesting ones on eBay, most by Waco. Can anybody give me some info on maintenance and personal machine preferences? Thanks.

look for a cool pachislo machine on craigslist. You can find ones that have cool themes from japanese games like tekken, street fighter and metal slug. I always see a bunch on CL look up japanese slot, pachislo and pachislot for best results

I'm not really sure if you're really looking for a real slot machine or just a toy.  I can tell you if you're interested in a real one. They're on Craigslist all the time here in Vegas if you can make the trip.

If you're worried about getting it on Craigslist and having it break, that's kind of the chance you take with them.  Due to gambling laws you are stuck buying a machine second hand (with no warranty but cheap) as you can NOT buy one from a store (warranty but huge price increase) locally unless you have Nevada ID.

I have a real one and can tell you that I consistantly have issues with it.  Anywhere from errors, to bulbs burning out to the bill acceptor stopped working.  It spends most of its time shut off and lonely.

I'm looking for more like a fancy toy/bank slot machine. There are many kinds, from newer ones on Amazon to older Waco ones on eBay. I wonder which ones are the best quality, have the best gameplay, and if they all are just made of plastic.

Japan has a lot of very cheap discarded slot and pachinko machines to offer (under 100 bucks), with themes over the half anime/game palette (like fist of the north star, daikui no gensan etc.). unfortunately the import costs may crush your wallet there.

Probably not an option.  Max weight is 35kilos, and most real machines weigh a lot more then this.  Meaning you will be stuck with 3rd party services like FedEx.  The whole in your wallet will never heal...
